The Dylan Morgan Show by Jenny Frame

Let me say this right off the bat. I’m not one of those people that enjoys the presence of small children in my alternative fiction. I don’t have a problem with kids, I love the little rug rats, but in alt fiction they tend to get in the way of grown up life. But I do have a few exceptions, this story is one of them. I like little Molly, and I think she’s a great addition to the plot. Her relationship with “Dien” is one of the best things about this story.

Dylan is this sweet, butch television star that wanders into a diner late one night, and her whole life changes when she sets her eyes on Emily, the lone waitress on duty that night. Emily has no idea who Dylan Morgan is, so her attraction to the celebrity is genuine. Not so for little Molly, she recognizes her instantly, and is immediately smitten with her playful new friend. The characters in this story are endearing, and the plot is refreshing. There’s also Solider Boy and Hippie Girl. They are the two women that. . .well, read it for yourself, you’ll like them. Jenny Frame has done a great job with this one. I’m hoping that there will be a season 3!

Dylan Morgan Show Season One
Dylan Morgan is a successful TV star, and is famous all over the world. Unlike her TV persona, she is in fact an awkward loner, who struggles to relate and communicate with women. Estranged from her family, Dylan leads a lonely life. One night, while making her way home, she walks into a diner and her life is changed forever.
